I’m just now getting around to looking at the pictures from the Arizona trip last month. Lots of flowers, bugs, birds, and lizards.

The closeup of the datura blossom is worthy of “Arizona Highways”, the state mag. Such a beautiful plant, and so deadly. There are usually a couple of teenagers each year who die from smoking the sacred datura, or ingesting it somehow. Datura tea maybe?? The plant grows everywhere around here and has invaded my vegetable garden. Gotta be careful. Loco week may make me mucho loco. –Gramma Peg

The picture style looks very familiar… like mother like son. Cheryl will get her Canyon pics uploaded one day.
