Hey!! Ronin!
What a lucky kid!! Great parents who you will only resent for a couple of years when you are 13 – 15. But, that’s a long time from now.
And – what lucky parents and grand parents. Make your parents let your grand parents spoil you.
Congrats!!
GOR
PS: Keep Ronin away from that Silas Kid. Seems a little fast to me. AND Ronin looks NOTHING like Alfred Hitchcock. Even Silas can see that.

Annika insisted that Joe say hi to the baby too. So…. hi from Joe! (We’re not sure who Joe is but he calls on her cell phone a lot and we have to set a place for him at the table during dinner.)

Congratulation!

Congratulations on the little tyke! She looks very cute from what I can see. I hope all was well with the birth and that you’re all home soon. Can’t wait to meet Chess, I mean, er, Ronin of course. I’ll concede she does look like a Ronin so the name fits! See you and talk to you soon!

Whoooo this is so special. I keep pinching Cheryl to see how she is; I can only imagine what you two are doing….with a real child…. of your own…. and who resembles you… with the unknown similarities to come.
I am proud.

I am so happy for you. Welcome little girl.

Congratulations! I can’t believe Jellyroll had a kid. Anything is possible in this world. The Rabbit Pirates can’t wait to meet him. Cheyenne, you look great. Ronin’ you look like an alien, healthy and beautiful but like an alien. Don’t worry, you’ll grow out of it and be drivin’ the boys (or girls, or both) crazy in no time. See you in few.

Congratulations Cheyenne.
I wish you both and dad a lot of happyness in the future.

I’m writing this at Cheyenne/Joshua’s apt. in Portland, waiting for baby Ronin to come home from the hospital. I miss her sweet little found face and those searching inquisitive eyes. She finds the corners of the room fascinating. Ronin is a born communicator—-she has a lusty cry and no-nonsense personality. She is definitely the center of the universe, and her parents do her bidding like they were born for this. Come home, Ronin!! Love, Gramma Peg

Oooohhhh! You two are beautiful! (Cheyenne, you look more like a French movie star than a newborn’s mother.) Anyway, welcome to the world Ronin! You are a lucky person to have such interesting parents who look at the world with eyes wide open. What fun you three will have!

Congrats! I just want you to know that I lobbied hard for one of our kids to be named Ronin and Connellan vetoed it!!! Great name. We look forward to meeting her :-)
January 15th, 2008 at 10:58 am
FYI…. I vetoed Ronin as a boy’s name. I adore it for a daughter! And, it is rather perfect for your daughter in particular.
January 15th, 2008 at 2:03 pm
Yeah! And how easy was it? Congratulations!! More long nights to come!

My very best congratulations. What a gorgeous baby! I hope you enjoy her as much as I have enjoyed my children.

Connellan said it best… you do look fantastic, certainly not your typical bedraggled mother-and-newborn photo. Way to go!
