Batbear and Nigel up to no good
May 14th, 2010 by: cheyenneJoshua had to go outside with a flashlight to search for Batbear, lest he be carried away by the raccoons while we slept. He found him stuffed in the bushes along the house like this:
If that’s not funny enough, here’s what she put on Nigel (we’ve been learning all about “big girl underwear” lately…):
It’s kind of embarrassing. We don’t let him out of the house like this.

This made me giggle and then laugh out loud when I saw Nigel. Ronin is a character. Thanks for a morning smile.

Batbear looks so sheepish. And Nigel looks like he’s thinking, “It’s not really my cup of tea, but if it’s what Ronin wants, I’ll go along with it.”

If you are going to spend the night outside, it does make sense to go out with a sleeping bag, in Batbear’s case, or at least a sensible pair of underwear. I’m glad Ronin is dressing her friends appropriately.

Red is Nigel’s color—he looks fetching and modestly appropriate. And Batbear looks cozy…a sensible bear. Ronin is a sensible straight forward child. We need folks like her. Maybe on the Supreme Court, sitting next to Sonia and Elena. –Oma Peggy

If you think it’s funny to let your toddler dress up her stuffed animals, you should see what a baby brother comes out looking like…
