Crawling

She’s been tentatively crawling for a couple of weeks now, but just in the last day or two started really picking up speed. Zooom.

    Oh, gosh, that’s just really cute. Looks like she’s taking advantage of the slippery wood floors.

    I think the slippery floors were what kept her from crawling at first–she was proficient at pulling her butt around with her hands but when we got the blue rug for her to play on, she had to come up with locomotion over non-slick surfaces.

    well, Joshua, you are definitely the “da da da” in this video. She seems to delight in you. I guess Cheyenne gets the “milk” signing, and you get the verbal da-da’s. Those chubby cheeks are sure looking like Cheyenne when she was a tot. —Gramma Peg

    I agree.. holy cuteness! Celine is just a step behind… just this week we started the tentative crawling so I see very well what I have to look forward to. We too have wooden floors so this morning, despite the cold, I removed her pants and she crawled a little bit but everywhere. The “da da” “di di” are plentiful and I told Carlos “don’t you wish you called yourself daddy” b/c that would be her first word? Unfortunately in French it’s papa.     All I can say is that you sure make grandma and grandpa giggle and smile, Ronin. You are precious. We are eager to see you Thanksgiving! Guess I will be tucking my low treasures away. :)

    All these comments make the video sound so cute! Unfortunatly I’m reading your blog one handed, in the middle of the night these days and have no flash player. I’ll just have to wait to see her crawl in person! I’m so looking forward to meeting the famous little Ronin!
