Golfito, Costa Rica
Although this video was taken in Costa Rica anyone who has visited the tropics has seen leafcutter ants. The industrious buggers clear paths through the jungle to make highways for workers to carry leaves back to the hill. They use the leaves to cultivate a fungus which they eat (ant-fungus mutualism).

Parque National Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, 2006
You may remember way back in 2006 we talked about meeting a sloth on the road. Here is the long awaited video. Thanks to Sage for helping me figure out the flash. Let me know if you can’t get it to play.
Golfo Dulce, Costa Rica.
I’m still on the Costa Rica pictures which are already on the server because we haven’t really had much quality internet time for uploading since then. Just trying to keep things colorful.
